Video Editing Program

What program do all you guys use to edit your vids?
What are the Pros and cons of the programs?

First I used Windows media player but after than minute's I already realized it sucks, so now I'm also looking for a better Program....

sony vegas is a easy program to edit movies :)

The pros use either Final cut or adobe premier. I like premier, you may be able to download a free version to try em' out first.

If you've got a Mac, then Final Cut all the way. Amazing program, only downside is the price.

If you do end up with a mac it has some free software on it called iMovie. Its not the most amazing bit of kit but its a good start for learning and getting a feel for things, its also free!
The only downside is that its lacking some of the more advanced features.

Well the problem with macs is that they're overpriced...
Sony Vegas is good, just torrent it from mininova or TPB.
